I created this 12x12 Mixed Media painting with acrylic and collage materials while chatting with visitors during the Tubac Open Studio Tour. I can easily do more paintings like this while talking with park visitors.

This 10x10" painting is made completely from various papers I monoprinted with a geli plate, and then collaged onto a wood panel. I've become much more interested in capturing the landscape since I moved from WA to AZ. There are so many wonderful landscape painters in WA, I never really attempted to paint landscapes all my years in WA. Instead I focused on flowers and abstract. A huge change of scenery caused me to shift my attention and interest.

This is my Plein air easel setup. It is easy to move around with my cart with large wheels.

This was painted on location looking at the Santa Rita Mountains near my home in Southern Arizona. It is oil, painted in Plein air with palette knife

This is a painting I created in Plein air. I used oil paints and palette knife to loosely capture the vibrancy and diversity of the desert scene. This is 18x24.
